E&I Global Solutions Pty Ltd were engaged on a construction project 30kms west of Chinchilla, for Syntech Resources during 2010. I was engaged as the construction manager on this project. The scope of work was consistent with all electrical and instrumentation work assumed in the construction of a coal wash / processing facility including trainload out. E&I Global Solutions Pty Ltd carried out all work in a professional and timely manner. E&l Global Solutions Pty Ltd (E&l Global) were engaged on the $1 billion Sydney Desalination Plant project since 5 January 2009 and is still continuing to provide its services for the project. E&l Global were initially engaged by Blue Water Joint Venture, an unincorporated Joint Venture between John Holland Group and Veolia Water Australia, to manage construction processes related to the Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls portion of the work.

Proving to be a reliable, safety conscious and hard working, E&l Global's scope for the project expanded to providing up to 40 personnel onsite to carry out the following:

Installation of Electrical cables and equipment, Instruments and mechanical equipment.
Ensuring the Quality Assurance systems are implemented for the Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls portion of the work.
Assisting in the implementation of a complex Permit to Work System.
Being part of the Commissioning Team to bring the plant "online" and carry out the intensive Performance and Reliability testing to meet key milestones on the project.
Supervising and carrying out defect rectification for all the defects under the Contract. This includes mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control defects.

It is worth noting that E&l Global had a great safety record and undertook their work with regard to safety of its own personnel and others onsite.

Furthermore, E&l Global have been, and still are, a major part of bringing the Sydney Desalination Project to completion. Its management instilled a cooperative feeling within its personnel and worked with Blue Water management and labour, and other suppliers/subcontractors onsite as one team. This made a significant positive difference to the moral onsite and to the final outcomes of the project.
